Terms of Use
In short: Doosi is yours to use for your own life admin. What you put in stays yours. Doosi uses AI, which can get things wrong, so check anything important. Nothing here takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or similar laws where you live.
1. Who we are
Doosi is provided by Cheetahs Deliver Pty Ltd (ABN 23 671 328 706), a company registered in Western Australia, Australia (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using Doosi, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to use Doosi. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should read and agree to these terms with you.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us at hello@doosi.ai if you think someone else has used your account.
- One account is for one person. Don't create accounts for others without their permission.
3. Your content
Your content is everything you put into Doosi: messages, voice, photos, documents, reminders, lists and the details you save about people. It stays yours.
- You give us permission to store, process and display your content only to run Doosi for you: to answer you, file and find things, send your reminders, keep backups and keep the service secure. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short-lived backups described in the Privacy Policy.
- We don't sell your content, use it for advertising, or let AI providers train on it.
- Only add information you have a right to share, including information about other people. Please be thoughtful about saving sensitive details about others.
4. AI and its limits
Doosi uses AI services to understand what you say, read photos and documents, and answer questions. AI is useful and also imperfect:
- It can misread a document, get a detail wrong, or misunderstand a request. Check anything important against the original, which Doosi keeps alongside the record.
- Totals and lists come from the records you've saved. If something was never saved, or saved without a date or amount, it can't be counted. Doosi shows such items in Needs Review.
- Doosi doesn't give medical, legal, financial or tax advice. It can store and summarise those documents, but decisions should be made with a qualified professional.
- In an emergency, contact emergency services directly. Doosi isn't an emergency service.
5. Reminders and notifications
Reminders depend on your phone, its settings (such as notifications and Focus) and network connections, as well as on our service. We work hard to deliver every reminder on time, but don't rely on Doosi alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause serious harm, such as medication doses.
6. Using Doosi fairly
Please don't use Doosi to:
- break the law, or store content you have no right to hold;
- harass, track or collect information about someone without a lawful reason;
- try to get into other people's accounts or data, or test, scan or disrupt our systems without our written permission;
- copy, resell or build a competing service from Doosi, or send automated requests in bulk;
- trick the AI into producing harmful content or getting around Doosi's safeguards.
Found a security problem? Please tell us at hello@doosi.ai. We welcome responsible reports.
7. Paid features
Doosi may offer paid plans. If you buy one in the app, the purchase is made through Apple's App Store (on iPhone) or Google Play (on Android):
- the price and what's included are shown before you buy;
- subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date;
- payment, billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. This doesn't affect your rights in section 10.
If we change a subscription price, we'll tell you in advance and the new price applies from your next renewal; you can cancel before then.
8. Changes to Doosi and these terms
Doosi will keep changing as we improve it. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove a feature that's a main part of a paid plan, we'll tell you first and you can cancel.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, unless it's needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don't agree, you can stop using Doosi and delete your account.
9. Ending your use
- You can stop at any time, and delete your account and everything in it from the app: Memory, your picture, Delete Account. See how deletion works.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where we're required to by law. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your records. If we close the service altogether, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your records.
10. Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you're entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You're also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure doesn't amount to a major failure, you're entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights, or similar rights under the consumer laws of the country you live in.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, and apart from the rights in section 10:
- Doosi is provided as it is and as available. We don't promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors.
- We're not liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by your own decisions based on Doosi's answers without checking them where these terms ask you to.
- Our total liability to you for any claim about Doosi is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Doosi in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD 100.
None of this limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law.
12. Apple
If you got Doosi from Apple's App Store:
- these terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Doosi and its content, maintenance and support;
- if Doosi fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apart from that, Apple has no warranty obligation for Doosi;
- we, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about Doosi, including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, privacy, and claims that Doosi infringes someone's intellectual property;
- you confirm you're not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- you must also follow the App Store's terms, including its usage rules;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at hello@doosi.ai; most things can be sorted out quickly. If not, the courts of Western Australia can decide the dispute, and if you live elsewhere you may also have the right to bring a claim in your own country's courts under its laws.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
